গিটার বাজানো শুরু করি ৭ বছর বয়সে. গান গাওয়া জীবনে শিখিনি. প্রথম গান রেকর্ড করি ১৮ বছর বয়সে . আমার ছেলে আহনাফ তার জীবনের প্রথম গান রেকর্ড করে ৭ বছর বয়সে. আমারই এলবাম 'বোকা মানুষটা' এর একটা গান 'ঝড়' এ ভয়েস দিয়েছিলো সে. আমার ছেলে জীবনে কোনো গানের তালিম নেয় নি. জীবনেও আমাকে গান কিভাবে গাইতে হবে জিজ্ঞেস করেনি. এখন তার বয়স ২০! উইসকনসিনে পড়াশোনা করছে. কয়েক মাস আগে ঢাকায় এসেছে ছুটিতে. হঠাৎ সে একদিন আমাকে হঠাৎ করেই জিজ্ঞেস করলো , "বাবা, তোমার
স্টুডিওতে আমি একটা গান রেকর্ড করতে পারি?" আমি বেশ অবাক হলাম! সে এখনো যে নিজের মনে গান গায় আমার ধারণা ছিলোনা. সে বললো Ed Sheeran এর ‘I See Fire’ গানটা রেকর্ড করতে চায়. Bay of Bengal এর বখতিয়ার কে বললাম মিউজিক ট্র্যাক টা বানাতে. কিছুদিন পর আহনাফ ভয়েস দিলো গানটাতে. আমি নিজেই ছিলাম রেকর্ডিস্ট. তার ভয়েস শুনে গায়ে কাঁটা দিয়ে উঠলো! অদ্ভুত ভালো গান গেল আমার ছেলেটা (কথাটা আমার নিজের ছেলে দেখে বলছিনা)! গানটার ভিডিও করে ফেললাম. আগামীকাল আমার ছেলেটা আবার উইসকনসিনে চলে যাচ্ছে. সবাই তার জন্য দোয়া করবেন. নিচে ভিডিওটা দিলাম.
